Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Krovbar stores about you and why. The controller of your data is Krovbar (operator details to be added), address to be added, contact legal@krovbar.com. It is written to meet the EU and UK GDPR and Turkey's KVKK.

What we store

• From your Steam, Xbox or PlayStation account: your account ID, public name, profile picture and profile link. We never see your password.
• From Steam, if your game details are public: the games you own and your hours played.
• What you enter: display name, genres, game types, "about you", and whether your platform names are shown.
• Reviews you write: your answers, the game and the date. We keep them linked to your account so only you can change them; other players only see totals.
• Technical: a sign-in cookie, and server logs with your IP address kept by our hosting provider for security.

Why (legal basis)

• To run Krovbar for you (performing our agreement with you).
• To keep Krovbar safe and fair, stop abuse and fake reviews (our legitimate interest).
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for profiling outside Krovbar.

Who else gets it

• Our hosting provider, Render (servers in Frankfurt, Germany), which stores the site and database for us.
• Valve, Microsoft or Sony when you sign in with them, under their own privacy policies.
• Authorities, only when the law requires it.

How long

Until you delete your profile. Then your profile, linked accounts, Steam games and the reviews you wrote and received are deleted. Sign-in sessions end after 30 days; sign-in attempts after 30 minutes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or limit how we use it. Most of this you can do yourself in Settings; for the rest write to legal@krovbar.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey: the KVKK Authority; in the EU: the authority of your country).

Children

Krovbar is not meant for children under 16 without permission from a parent or guardian.
